Adam Bruce is a Des Moines-based Prairie Soul singer and songwriter. Adam’s honest, direct songwriting reflects his rural Midwestern upbringing while his vocal howl recalls an impassioned Southern revival. Adam debuted in 2017 with the “Wild Rose EP,” a five-song collection of folk-influenced compositions. In the spring of 2018, Adam gathered a group of top area musicians to the studio with a slate of new songs. Learning and recording each song live over two days, the group created the dynamic “Amends EP,” released in November 2018. In March 2022, Adam partnered with Josh Parks Davis to release an irreverently catchy country album, the self-titled “Bruce & Parks EP.” Adam performs as a duo with his wife April Lynn and also fronts the alt-country group the New Bodies.
